Preconstruction construction services for a fast-track, two-phase construction of an 80,000 SF data center in an existing building. The warehouse was designed for trucking with both grade level and truck level access. Headroom was between 20 and 40 feet. The loading dock doors were in-filled and windows changed to spandrel with Kevlar reinforcement. Scope of work includes:
• Cyber hotels/collocation facilities
• N+1 redundancy – generators, chillers, UPS and chilled water CRAC units for cooling medium voltage power distribution including (8) 15KW Generators, (4) 3000 KVA MV transformers, (2) 200KVA UPS, and (4) 25KV MV Switches
• Design to 145 watts per SF
• Remodel existing buildings
• Several power distribution and lighting schemes
• 8,000 SF central plant addition, construction of 30,000 SF mezzanine and 20,000 SF generator yard
